Woodstock Partnerships, in collaboration with LiveWest, is undertaking an exciting redevelopment project at the former Henbury Social Club site in Bristol.
The current plan, which is a key component of the planning application submitted to Bristol City Council, involves demolishing the existing social club building to make way for a new residential community. The proposal includes the construction of eight semi-detached houses alongside a modern apartment building, which will collectively offer 15 residential units (comprising five 2-bedroom units and ten 1-bedroom units).
Key Features of the Development
The design approach for this project has been driven by an understanding of both the market demands and the unique characteristics of the existing site. The design team has considered various physical factors, including the site’s topography and current conditions, to create a layout that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
This redevelopment initiative reflects a commitment to enhancing the local area while addressing housing needs. The design and planning process has followed the guidelines set out by the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment (CABE), ensuring that the development is in harmony with both economic and social factors as well as relevant planning policies.
This project represents a significant investment in the future of the Henbury area, providing much-needed housing and contributing to the community’s growth. Through the partnership between Woodstock Partnerships and LiveWest, this redevelopment will transform the former social club site into a vibrant residential hub.
