Affordable residential housing with Curo

Welcome to our residential development project in partnership with Curo, located to the east of Bradley Stoke Way, Bradley Stoke, Bristol. This project, spearheaded by Woodstock Homes and designed by Thrive Architects, aims to deliver up to 50 high-quality apartments within a thoughtfully planned community environment. The development is a key addition to the vibrant residential area of Bradley Stoke, addressing the growing need for housing while enhancing the local urban landscape.

The proposed development site, covering approximately 0.58 hectares, is strategically positioned between Bradley Stoke Way and adjacent residential and commercial zones. The site, currently an unused parcel of scrubland, offers a prime opportunity for residential expansion, filling in a missing piece of the local urban fabric. The project envisions the construction of two four-story apartment blocks, carefully designed to blend with the existing architectural styles while providing a distinctive and modern addition to the area.

The design process has been highly responsive to feedback from the local planning authority (LPA) and community consultations, leading to a refined layout that optimises space, enhances green buffers, and improves accessibility. The development will feature a mix of one and two-bedroom apartments, with a significant portion allocated as affordable housing. In addition to the residential units, the plan includes ample green spaces, sustainable drainage solutions, and facilities for pedestrians and cyclists, ensuring a cohesive and sustainable living environment for future residents.
